Translation: English to French
The Japanese Consulate in Montreal was organizing a special event to showcase Japanese art, culture, cuisine and history and needed a freelance translator to help provide the French version of their brochure.

Restaurant du Vieux-Port made use of my freelance translation services for special events and promotions. They wanted to find someone who had a strong marketing flair, great copywriting skills and accurate translation expertise so that their message would not be diluted when translated to another language.

I wrote and translated several pieces for the the Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce Annual Gala, which raises funds for communities and the Montreal Children’s Hospital. The header, or hook, of the piece works in both languages – another reason why a trained copywriter can be your best bet for translation.
